If after a few weeks of practice you feel you can handle clearing more emotional patterns each day, you can increase to 3-4 per day. Try to identify at least one emotional trigger\/pattern per day either by:<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 16px; padding-left: 30px;\"><b>a. <\/b>Noticing what\u00a0emotional patterns are triggering you as you go about life (there is a guide on how to do this in the Week 2: Course Materials section below)<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>and\/or<\/em><br \/>\n<b><br \/>\nb. <\/b>Using the worksheets to identify an emotional pattern<b><\/b><\/p>\n<p><b> <\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>2. When using the emotional clearing techniques, you\u00a0will notice a dramatic reduction in intensity or complete\u00a0erasure of the pattern immediately after.\u00a0<\/strong>If you feel that there is some lingering emotional residue after using the techniques, you may repeat them once more for a deeper effect. In the rare case that they have not completely cleared after a second clearing session, please refer to the <a href=\"..\/knowledge-base\/what-do-i-do-if-a-limiting-belief-stubbornly-resists-clearing\/\">knowledge base article here<\/a> for\u00a0guidance on how to eliminate the lingering emotional residue completely.<\/p>\n<p style=\"background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 16px;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">6.\u00a0Give yourself a few minutes (1-5 min. is adequate) to integrate the changes<\/strong>\u00a0in your system from clearing the limiting beliefs before proceeding to step 7.<\/p>\n<p style=\"background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 16px;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">7. If you are working on more than one emotional pattern in a given session, <\/strong>repeat steps 2 and 3 for the remaining emotional patterrns.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\"><\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 26px;\">How to Clear\u00a0Trauma<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p style=\"background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 16px;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">1. Watch the videos covering the different Trauma Stretches below until you get the hang of the techniques and no longer need the videos.<\/strong>\u00a0There can be a slight learning curve as your body learns the subtleties of the movements, but most people pick them up fairly quickly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 16px;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">2.\u00a0During a Trauma Stretching session,\u00a0you can choose to practice one or all of the techniques for as long as you would like<\/strong>.\u00a0Listen to your body to feel into when is an appropriate stopping point. 1-5 min per position is adequate but you can go longer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 16px;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">3.\u00a0After finishing the Trauma Stretching, spend a few minutes laying on your back on the floor in a comfortable position with your eyes closed<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 16px; background-color: #ffffff;\">.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px; background-color: #ffffff;\">This helps the shifts that were made during the stretches to integrate more deeply.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 16px;\" class=\"et-fb-mce-line-break-holder\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; background-color: #ffffff;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 16px;\" class=\"et-fb-mce-line-break-holder\"><span style=\"font-size: 16px; background-color: #ffffff;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<h4 style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\"><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\"><\/h4>\n<h4 style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 21px;\">Other Things to Be Aware Of<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p style=\"background-color: #ffffff; font-size: 16px;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\"><strong style=\"font-size: 16px;\">+\u00a0<\/strong>Be sure to drink lots of fresh, high-quality spring water and get adequate rest after\u00a0working with the techniques.<\/strong>\u00a0This is important to help the body deal with any toxins released as a result of letting go of\u00a0emotional patterns and trauma as well as to help your body and mind integrate the changes.
